“From Cambodia to Education: Angelina Jolie’s ‘Adopted’ Family Embarks on a New Life, Learning English and Schooling with Star’s Support”

Angelina Jolie’s compassion knows no bounds as she involves her children in a charitable act of ‘adopting’ a Cambodian family to provide them with an education. The Hollywood actress was moved by the bond that her kids developed with 16-year-old Leida Shoun and her siblings during their time in Cambodia, where Jolie directed her latest movie ‘First They Killed My Father’. The Cambodian children initially approached Jolie’s children while they were soliciting tourists for money in Siem Reap, which led to a heartwarming friendship that inspired Jolie and her family to make a positive impact on their lives.

Angelina Jolie and her family have recently adopted a Cambodian family, consisting of 12 children between the ages of 19 years old and 16 months. The family was living in a shack in one of the city’s slums, surviving on food provided by charities and the government. However, over the course of a few weeks, Angelina’s daughters Shiloh and Zahara showed their charitable side by helping out the family. Brad Pitt offered to buy them ice cream, but the girls decided to use the money to provide the Cambodian family with a better life and fund their education.

Angelina Jolie, who is seen here with her daughters Zahara and Shiloh in 2015, has set a great example for her children when it comes to being compassionate. They have learned from the best!

The famous actress from the movie Wanted, who is now 40 years old, along with her kids, is lending a helping hand to children in Cambodia to attend school.

Shiloh had a blast getting to know some new friends during her trip to Siem Reap, Cambodia last November. She even shared some sweet treats with her newfound siblings.

Zahara’s kind heart extended beyond just meeting locals during the Jolie-Pitt family’s visit to Cambodia. She also generously gifted some of the young residents with new apparel and bicycles.

Angelina was touched by the fact that her kids had embraced their family wholeheartedly, regardless of any geographical boundaries.

Ready for class: The Cambodian kids were given the chance to wear school uniforms and go to the New York International School Cambodia, which is known to be one of the top schools in the region.

The young students who attend school are early birds, as they board the school bus at 6:45 a.m. each morning.

Off to school we head: Leida, who is just 16 years old, along with her siblings attend classes for five days a week. The classes go on until 5 PM, after which they are provided with an afternoon meal. Angelina’s daughters have also taken the responsibility of providing meals, clothes, and bicycles for the children. This experience has given them first-hand knowledge about the lives of the underprivileged. However, Leida had previously mentioned that she had no intention of attending classes. She cited distance as the primary issue, stating that the school was too far away and that she could not walk there. As a result, she abstained from attending classes altogether.

Angelina Jolie and her philanthropic family have a desire to provide underprivileged children with a bright future and quality education. One inspiring child, Leida, expressed her eagerness to learn despite the financial barriers her family faced. “It is five dollars per subject per month per child – too much for us,” she explained. Nevertheless, Leida remains determined to succeed academically and to serve as a positive role model for her loved ones. The Jolie-Pitts have taken their charitable efforts a step further by enrolling Leida and her siblings in the New York International School Cambodia – one of the top educational institutions in the region.

Shiloh and her caregiver splurged on kids’ clothing and shoes worth $200 before heading to the arcade for a fun game of basketball hoop shooting. Each morning, Leida and her seven school-going siblings, including Dyna, Ploy, Lan, Do and Darn, don their crisp white and blue uniforms and proudly board the bus at 6:45 am. The bus takes them to school, where they attend classes five days a week until 5 pm and enjoy an afternoon meal. The children started school in December and are working hard to learn English, along with their native language Khmer. Thanks to their education, the children are no longer begging for change from tourists on the streets of Siem Reap late into the night.

Thanks to Angelina and her children, the underprivileged children who used to beg for money from tourists at all hours of the day and night can now bid farewell to their late nights. According to a source who was familiar with the family and used to assist them occasionally, attending school has been a life-changing experience for these children. It has given them hope for a brighter future and a sense of purpose in life. The elder daughter, Leida, is a smart girl who had already started picking up English, but she still needs to catch up with her peers due to the lack of educational access in her past. Despite this, they are all thrilled to be attending school and have been given a new lease on life. While most of them are too young to understand the value of education fully, Angelina and her family have already done more than just writing a cheque. They have provided these children with the opportunity to learn, work, and thrive on their own.

A mother-of-six, who happens to be a Maleficent star, has three biological children and three adopted ones, including Shiloh, Zahara, and Pax. Some individuals close to the kids were concerned about how well they would adapt to their new school environment, where most students come from more privileged backgrounds. However, things have been going smoothly so far, and the children have already made many Cambodian friends. Ploy, one of the kids, expressed her enjoyment of school and how she’s learning English. According to a source at the institution, the Shouns are doing exceptionally well despite not having prior exposure to school structure and discipline. These smart and sharp kids have a lot of potential, and everyone believes they’ll have a fantastic future ahead of them.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s love story began when they acted together in the movie Mr. Mrs. Smith back in 2005. Even after all these years, their love seems to be going strong as they were spotted together in November of last year.
